Free trials and free credit

What a free trial or free credit includes and what happens when it ends.

What a trial includes

A trial lets your organisation run a set number of engineers for a set number of days. Hours worked inside the trial are never billed.

What free credit includes

Free credit gives your organisation a number of engineer-hours at no charge instead of a number of days. It starts when you first sign in and lasts until its hours are used or its days pass, whichever comes first (unused hours expire). The hours are counted the way your plan counts them; hours inside a free trial never use credit up, and the oldest credit is used first. The strip above your work says how many hours are left and when unused ones expire. Hours covered by credit appear on your statement as "Free credit hours (not charged)".

When a trial or credit ends

Work that is running is finished. New work is refused until a rate is set for your organisation (on the WeCan platform: until a payment method is confirmed). Nothing is deleted.
