Waiting for you and the mobile app
The Yavaren mobile app
Pair your phone, see what waits for you, approve plans and criteria, read a pull request's AI review, get notified.
The Yavaren app for iPhone and Android lets you:
- see what is waiting for you, with a badge;
- review and approve a story's plan, including the acceptance criteria found in linked material (include or exclude each one, with a note), or ask for changes;
- decide the criteria of a requirement's brief, features or stories;
- open a pull request: its AI review, the quality scorecard and which acceptance criteria are met, not met or not verified. Approve on GitHub (or your repository host) opens the host's page, where you approve as yourself. Yavaren never approves or merges a pull request;
- follow delivery: work items, their state and pull request links;
- get a notification when something waits for you.
The app can do only what you can do on the web. If you are a viewer, it shows things but does not approve them.
Sign your phone in
With a pairing code (most installations):
- In the console, open Mobile app and choose Show a pairing code.
- In the app, tap Scan the QR code and point the camera at the screen. Or tap Type the code, enter the code
(for example
ABCD-2345) and the server address — the address you open this console at.
The code works once, for 10 minutes. Showing a new code ends the old one.
With your WeCan account (Yavaren cloud): there is no code. In the app, choose Sign in with WeCan and use the same e-mail and password as on the web.
Your phones
Mobile app lists your phones: name, platform, when each was last used and whether notifications are on. Sign out stops a phone at once — use it when a phone is lost or replaced. A phone that is not used for 30 days signs out by itself.
Notifications
Turn them on in the app (Settings › Notifications). You get one notification per request, reminder or escalation, with a title and one short line — never code or secrets — and not during your organisation's quiet hours. Your admins can switch phone notifications off for the whole organisation (Waiting for you › how people are told). An installation that is not connected to the internet never sends them; the app's list still shows everything when you open it.
