Connect and set up
Confluence pages in your stories
Connect Confluence Cloud so Yavaren reads the Confluence pages your work items link to, with an account you choose.
When a story links to a Confluence page, Yavaren can read that page before it plans the work, like any linked document. Without a Confluence connection, a private Confluence page cannot be read.
Connect Confluence Cloud
For the admins of your organisation.
- Choose the Atlassian account Yavaren reads as. Yavaren reads only what that account can see, so give it view access to the spaces your work items link to, and nothing more.
- Signed in as that account, open id.atlassian.com (your Atlassian account) › Security › API tokens › Create API token, and copy it.
- In Connections, choose Add a connection › Confluence Cloud:
- Confluence address: your site, for example
https://acme.atlassian.net; - Space key (optional): to read one space only; Choose from a list shows the spaces the account can see; - API token and Account e-mail: keep the names shown and paste the token and the e-mail once. - Make it the project's knowledge source (one per project). Today this is done through the API:
PUT /v1/assignments/<project id>/knowledge-sourceswith{"connection_ids": ["<connection id>"]}; the project page does not show it yet.
What happens in a story
Only pages on your Confluence site are read this way, through Confluence's API, by your organisation's runner. The
page's text is given to the story as information, never as instructions: text in a page that tries to instruct an AI
is reported and ignored. A page Yavaren may not read is listed with the reason. Short links (/wiki/x/...) are not
read: link the page's full address.
Copying Confluence pages into Yavaren's Knowledge is not available yet.
